Shipping Policy

General:

Shipping cost is not reflected in the cost of the product. The website will calculate shipping options for your review based on your choices at time of check out. Also, quotes for shipping may be obtain prior to completing the check out process either via the website or via one of our customer care team members. If for some reason shipping charges are not calculated at time of order, purchaser will be notified and billed shipping charges after submitting the order.

Customer Receiving Responsibilities For Freight:

Customer must carefully read and understand product receiving responsibilities. It is the purchasers responsibility to fully understand and educate those who might be receiving freight on his/her behalf. Failure to properly receive freight, will void claim, warranty and reimbursement.

BeamsDirect makes every effort to safeguard your order for transit. In the unlikely event your merchandise arrives damaged, consignee is responsible for following the below procedures. Failure to do so forfeits consignees claim for reimbursement and any warranty claim.

Shipping Policy For Freight Transportation: (e.g. FedEx Freight, Estes Express)

  • Purchaser must fully inspect all contents within the boxes prior to signing the delivery receipt.

  • Inspect the outer box, if any damages, tears, foot prints, crush markings, bends, scuff markings, holes etc. are observed, you must notate these findings on the delivery receipt. If possible, take photos with your smart phone of the damage and or concerns while the freight is still on the truck.

  • Open the boxes up and fully inspect all of the merchandise. Note any and all damage on the delivery receipt and request an exception number. Please take photos of any and all damage or concerns.

  • If damage has occurred, reject the damaged items only. The freight company may or may not notify BeamsDirect of the damaged rejection, to expedite replacement of products, please contact our customer care team at 866-313-2574 to notify us of the damage.

  • Clean Delivery & Concealed Damage - A clean delivery is a signed contract between the person receiving the freight and the transportation company. A clean delivery waives the transportation company of any wrong doing (Damage). Failure to inspect and notate damage on the delivery receipt, voids your right to warranty and or claim reimbursement. If concealed damaged is found after the delivery receipt has been signed without notation of damage, it is the customers responsibility to file a claim with the carrier and re-order needed product from BeamsDirect.

  • If receiving the freight in good condition, it is recommended to write "Subject to inspection" on the delivery receipt. If damage is found, you MUST contact the delivery carrier the same day to file a concealed damage claim. Failure to do so, will forfeit your right to file a claim with the carrier.

Delivery:

Commercial Address: Will deliver the freight to your loading dock. If a loading dock is not accessible, the freight company will provide the freight for pickup at the end of their trailer. Unless otherwise requested and additionally paid for, the freight company will not provide inside delivery and package removal services.

Residential Address: There is a minor fee for a residential delivery. Purchaser will receive a call from the carrier creating a delivery appointment. If for some reason, the purchaser or his/her representative is not present to take delivery at the delivery time, the purchaser will be responsible for re-delivery charges assessed by the carrier. If a freight company finds a shipment is indeed a residential address and this wasn't accurately conveyed by the purchaser, the purchaser will be responsible for additional residential fees assessed by the carrier.

The carrier will deliver the freight as close as they can to your home and or driveway. Unless arranged and paid for in advance, the carrier Will Not provide inside delivery. Inside delivery includes bringing the boxes into the garage and or house. If inside delivery is required, please contact BeamsDirect customer service at time of order to make the necessary arrangements. It is the purchasers responsibility to arrange for the merchandise to be brought from the delivery point to inside the home or garage. ***Please remember to fully inspect all merchandise in and outside of the box prior to signing the delivery receipt and moving the product into the home***

Address Change:

In some cases an address change is needed after the merchandise has shipped. In most cases, address changes can be made. The freight company will charge an address correction fee, which the purchaser will be responsible for.

Storage:

Shortly after your order has shipped, you will receive an call from the transportation carrier. They will be calling to make arrangements for delivery. The carriers must make delivery within a time frame of their specified policy. If the delivery is unable to be made within this window of time, the transportation company will assess a "storage fee". This storage fee will solely be the responsibility of the purchaser.

Estimated Shipping Date:

BeamsDirect website and or its customer service representatives will provide you with an estimated shipping date. Most orders will ship on or before this date, however factors such as trucking, holidays, quality inspections, etc. may delay some shipments. The estimated date should be used as a guide for delivery and not a rule. If a specific delivery date is required, please contact BeamsDirect customer care team.

International Customers:

International Customers are responsible for taxes, duties, and brokerage fees associated with sending product outside of the United States of America.
